Café Concert Series

Meet and mingle with festival artists and audiences between performances in the Atlas’ festive Kogod Lobby. A wide range of musical performers will fill the space throughout the festival, creating the perfect accompaniment to café faire and conversation. Enjoy these free concerts as you meet someone new at INTERSECTIONS.

 
 

AC in DC

The best of DC college and high school a cappella groups converge to kick-off a day-long celebration of this popular “sing-off” style.  Right after,  don’t miss Intersecting A Cappella featuring two top a cappella groups, Reverb and Euphonism, at 4pm.

Alpha Dog Blues Acoustic

Swing to unplugged Chicago style blues when Roger Hart wails on his signature harmonica, joined by singer/ blues guitarist Tom Muck. You'll hear some standard classics, a few jumps & originals and be treated to some great picking and harmonica riffs.  Hosted by The Corner Store.

American Youth Chorus

From the Capitol to the White House and beyond, these young singers lift their voices in joyful song.  The Congressional Chorusafter-school music program at the Atlas, AYC offers students a performance-based choral/musical theatre program that encourages young people to develop their voices, creativity, and self-esteem.

The Fablers

Charlie Barnett and Marilyn Older may be best known for fronting the much loved band Chaise Lounge, but now and then they take a night off from their signature lounge sound to revisit their southern musical roots.
